University of Virginia Foundation Names Deborah van Eersel as New Chief Executive Officer

UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA FOUNDATION NAMES DEBORAH VAN EERSEL AS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER  CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — At the February meeting of the directors of the University of Virginia Foundation, the board formally approved and applauded the choice of Deborah van Eersel as its next chief executive officer, effective July 1, 2025. van Eersel, who currently serves as the Foundation's chief administrative officer, will succeed Tim Rose, who is retiring after 33 years of leadership.
