Paramount at the Movies Presents: Close Encounters of the Third Kind [PG]

After an accidental encounter with otherworldly vessels, Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) refuses to accept an explanation for what he saw. Much to the dismay of his wife Ronnie, Roy becomes obsessed with what he saw and the subliminal messaging he receives in the aftermath. Meanwhile, three-year-old Barry and his mother Jillian become increasingly terrorized by the visitors.

Steven Spielberg’s classic passion project was nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Director, Supporting Actor, and Visual Effects, and was recognized as culturally significant by the United States Library of Congress in 2007.
