Municipal Band 95th Annual Spring Concert

Join The Municipal Band of Charlottesville as it inaugurates its 95th season with a Spring Concert! We are looking forward to welcoming soloist Charlotte MacDonald, winner of the 2017 James W. Simmons Solo Competition and Dr. Genevieve Murphy Scholarship, performing von Weber's "Concertino." Charlotte has played clarinet since she was 10 years old, and has studied at the private studio of Christine Willard since entering the sixth grade. She is currently a junior at Charlottesville High School, where she performs with the Charlottesville High School Wind Ensemble. She also performs with the YOCVA Youth Symphony under the direction of Dr. Charles West. The Dickinson Theater, PVCC 3:30PM Admission is FREE.
