Handle with Care: Pen Pal Program

We started a pen pal program (Handle with Care Project) for those who live in assisted living facilities + communities in Charlottesville!!

Handle With Care is a unique pen pal project designed to foster intergenerational connections and combat feelings of loneliness among seniors.

We are looking for pen pals to join us in our monthly workshops, starting May 23 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Center. If you want to become a pen pal but cannot attend workshops, we'll set up a plan to get your letters to your senior pen pal. Please reach out to Us if you have any questions!!!
