Microbursts, earthquakes, Derechos, fires, and more. Disasters can happen at any time. Is your business prepared for it? The Charlottesville-UVa-Albemarle Office of Emergency Management will educate you on how to prepare your business for a disaster. In this session we will cover:
- business continuity planning
- emergency planning for employees
- Planning to Stay or Go
- Practice, practice, practice
Facilitator: Allison Farole
The Charlottesville-UVA-Albemarle Office of Emergency Management is a three-jurisdiction office overseeing and coordinating disaster planning and operations management from a local level. The office is responsible for writing and implementing the regional emergency operations plan, coordinating the city, county and university response to a disaster, acting as a liaison between local, state and federal officials and educating the public on disaster preparedness.
No refunds will be given for no-shows or cancellations the day before or day of the class.
