Event Description:

A message from the new BWRT Chairwoman, Cathy Pales:

"We had an amazing 2019 Quadruplicity conference last month. Thank you to those of you who attended and shared your positive energy.

We request that positive energy again on Thursday, March 21st at the next BWRT monthly meeting. We are beginning a re-imagining process for BWRT. The Chamber CEO, Elizabeth Cromwell, will give us an update on her work with the Chamber Board to identify new areas of focus and how we can be involved. We will then break into groups to discuss the following question - How can we (the Chamber and members) best serve and support professional women in the Charlottesville region? The themes that emerge will serve as the foundation for generating specific ideas that will be developed over the summer. We will also hear from the Ivy Creek Foundation.

We look forward to seeing on you the 21st!"

The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Women's Round Table (BWRT) was founded in 2004 to offer professional women in our region opportunities for networking and professional development in a welcoming and collegial environment. Under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce, the BWRT hosts monthly brown-bag lunch meetings, open to all Chamber members, on the third Thursday of every month.

BWRT members represent many diverse fields and professions, including large and small businesses, non-profits, real estate, banking, education, and many more. Ultimately, what binds our group together is the idea that camaraderie and professionalism can be mutually sustaining goals.
