The Realities of Cyber Risk & the Need for Cyber Security for Small Businesses – Financial Services Emphasis
Do you worry about the cyber security of your small business? Have you considered what steps to take to minimize this risk? Are you required to follow PCI regulations and concerned about compliance or about fraud in other day-to-day financial transactions? Join us at our upcoming two-part cyber security workshop for great information and maybe a little peace of mind! The first portion of the workshop (1:00 – 2:00) includes a presentation by Phil Jaderborg of PJ Networks on the Foundations of Cyber Security and is designed to provide you with a basic understanding of security vulnerabilities and a checklist of best practices for reducing risks. The second portion (2:00 – 3:00) includes a round table discussion between attendees and industry experts. This particular workshop will focus on fraud detection and cyber security in financial transactions. Please come to a portion of the workshop, or come for the duration! Refreshments provided by First Citizens Bank. This workshop is brought to you by the Central Virginia SBDC, PJ Networks, First Citizens Bank and the City of Charlottesville.
