Richmond Symphony Orchestra’s “The Snowman”

“I remember that winter because it had brought the heaviest snow I had ever seen. Snow had fallen steadily all night long and in the morning I woke in a room filled with light and silence, the whole world seemed to be held in a dream-like stillness. It was a magical day… and it was on that day I made the Snowman.” Kick off the holiday season with the Academy Award-nominated movie The Snowman. This charming, animated film follows the story of a young boy and his magical friendship with a snowman while the Richmond Symphony performs the original score, as well as additional holiday favorites. We invite ticket holders to join us before the performance for a musical “petting zoo” of flutes, violins and more in The Paramount’s Lobby.
