National Crime Victims' Rights Awareness Day
Come enjoy food, games, a demonstration by the Derby Dames, face painting, and more as we highlight all the resources in the community accessible to all crime victims. Every year in April, the Office for Victims in Crime helps lead communities throughout the country in their annual observances of NCVRW, which will be observed in 2018 from April 8—14. Our community event will be on April 13th from 11:30 - 1:30 at the Sprint Pavilion. This event will highlight the resources in the community that are accessible to all crime victims. Come out and see all the resources available in our communities. Talk with our police officers, our firefighters, our victim witness offices, and so many other area agencies that support our residents. Come and visit with Federal, State and Local representatives as we gather together to raise awareness about crime victims’ rights and services.
