Chamber Senior Business Round Table
"The mission of the Senior Business Roundtable is to provide education about local businesses and services that support personal choice and vitality in the second half of life, and to provide a forum to develop relationships with the members of the roundtable who serve in the that community."
Who is the SBRT?
The Chamber of Commerce Senior Business Round Table (SBRT) is composed of businesses and organizations that provide products or services which enable and support their clients who are choosing to "age in the place of their choice." The group's meetings and activities provide opportunities for members that serve the 50+ age market to work together to educate themselves and their clients of the diverse public and private programs and services in our area that may benefit clients, their families and caregivers, and the greater community.
SBRT Group Meetings
The SBRT meets monthly, usually on the first Friday of each month from 9:00am - 10:30am, usually at Our Lady of Peace. For specific meeting details, refer to the Chamber calendar. Meetings are free of charge.
Chamber members are welcome and encouraged to attend the SBRT meetings even if they are not members of the SBRT. Non-Chamber members - both service providers and consumers -- are welcome to attend two meetings before becoming Chamber members. Members of the SBRT receive preferred placement in group events and communication vehicles.
The purpose of SBRT meetings is to educate the group about topics that will serve their clients or their practices and to learn more about the services that other members offer. Meetings are structured but are collaborative and informal; they are a place for us to learn from and enjoy the fellowship of each other. Members regularly refer clients between each other based on the trust built during these interactions.
